This is a listing for a 100g braid of 100% Untreated Corriedale in the colourway Kelp Forest.  Bright Aqua, deep teal and vivid green mix together seamlessly, guaranteeing a beautiful finished product!

Corriedale is a lovely wool that is a great all purpose fibre for spinners, felters, weavers, knitters and crocheters.  It's New Zealand's first breed of sheep of their own!  

It's a medium fibre with a micron count of 25-30, and has a decent staple length ranging from 3-5'.  It's slightly more rustic, so works well spun slightly thicker, and some may feel slightly sensitive with it next to skin, but it is fantastic as a starter fibre for new spinners because of the ease of working with this.
