BFL/MASHAM 75/25 FIBRE

BFL (Blue Faced Leicester) is a lovely shiny long-stapled wool with an approximate micron count of 26, making it lovely and soft.  Masham is a medium-soft, long-staple fibre with high lustre. This longwool breed is has a lot of natural drape when knitted and is approximately 38 - 44mic.

 

When combined, this fibre is shiny and slightly rustic, with a beautiful halo due to the large variance in staple lengths of the Masham.  It is also naturally taupe in colour, which means colours come out slightly muted and moody, which I love!

 

This fibre will be suitable for Dyeing, Wet Felting, Needle Felting, Spinning, Weaving, Jumbo Knitting, Jumbo Crochet
