Collection: DK Suri Alpaca

If you're a lover of the softest, fluffiest yarns, our DK weight Suri Alpaca is the one for you!  No more holding Suri Lace double, this fluffy yarn will knit up from Sport to Worsted gauge, depending on your tension and needle size!  

This base is made up of 74% Suri Alpaca, 22% Merino, and 4% Polyamide.  Perfect for people who are avoiding silk, it has a Merino and Poly core that traps all the gorgeous long Suri fibre in this yarn.  With generous yardage at 260m/285yd per 100g, it goes a long way! 

This fibre is non-superwash, so gentle hand washing is recommended.  Because of the nature of the fibre, it does have some natural variegation (moving untreated fibre around too much in the dye process = felting and we don't want that!) but in general, the lighter the colour the more even it will be.  

This fibre is on a PREORDER.  Because of the nature of the dye process, we want your skeins to match as well as possible, so all orders will be custom dyed, and therefore has a 4 week turnaround time.  We will aim to get your skeins dyed more quickly where possible, however!
