Mega Duck - Southdown Sock

This is a listing for a 100g braid of Southdown Sock fibre in the colourway Mega Duck.  It has all of the colours of Duck, but with much greater saturation and so it got its name!  Deep greens and steel blue, pops of orange and moss green and toffee, it has a bit of everything and spins up into a beautiful yarn! 

This fibre is a blend that I hope will be a great non-superwash fibre that works for socks and other hard-wearing garments and accessories.  With 75% Southdown Babydoll fibre, 12.5% Alpaca, and 12.5% Bio Nylon, it should be warm and less likely to felt because of the down breed.  The Bio Nylon is a more environmentally conscious version that adds strength but will biodegrade in a landfill environment.
