YARN BASE INFORMATION

85% Superwash Fine Merino, 15% Nylon.  4 ply, 225m/246yd per 100g skein.

This is a classic Bramble Ridge staple, with 85% Superfine superwash treated Merino and 15% Nylon to make it durable but not plastic-feeling.  The bonus of this blend is that it makes the yarn suitable for knitting anything, including socks! It’s really bouncy and full and can even be knit to a worsted gauge in some cases.  This is a fan favourite!

75% Superwash Merino, 15% Nylon, 10% Viscose Neps

This yarn is a similar makeup to our classic DK, with slightly different makeup and gorgeous black, tan, and white neps.  The yardage is the same and it knits up in a really similar way.  Bouncy and round, this four ply is a great workhorse yarn!

74% Suri Alpaca, 22% Merino, 4% Polyamide. 260m/284yd per 100g skein.

This is a special one!  No silk in this blend, the Suri Alpaca is spun with a core of Merino with a touch of Polyamide for durability.  The alpaca fibres fluff out in a big way and fill gaps, meaning you can knit this wool at a variety of gauges.  This yarn goes a long way, with 260m per skein and it can be knit up to a worsted gauge in a lot of circumstances.  Ultra warm and fluffy!

70% Organic untreated wool, 30% Linen.  233m/255yd per 100g skein.

While this yarn feels slightly rustic in the skein, it softens beautifully as you knit and wear it.  This is a non-superwash wool, so hand washing is required.  The high linen content creates beautiful weathering and his yarn is perfect for light summer tees and accessories with great drape!
