Hand Dyed/Carded Batt 1 - Haunui Wool

This listing is for a 100g batt made from 50% undyed and 50% hand dyed medium strength Haunui Wool. 

THese fibres are in the 26 micron range but you would never know it.  Incredibly soft, long staple, lovely to spin.  I've mised 50% Midnight Haunui (dark coffee brown) and 50% Storm Haunui dyed in my Silent Disco colourway.  When I was dyeing these, the blue didn't exhaust properly and the braid got a little bit compacted.  This was all fixed with carding and opening the fibres!  Please be aware that there may be some colour leeching in your finished yarn, but it shouldn't affect the overall look since the base is so dark.
