Duck - Southdown Sock

This is a listing for a 100g braid of Southdown Sock fibre in the colourway Duck.  This is a classic BR colourway with soft teal and steel blue, and brigh pops of orange, moss, toffee and more.  The bright pops are balanced by the undyed sections, which gives them a beautiful pastel feel.

This fibre is a blend that I hope will be a great non-superwash fibre that works for socks and other hard-wearing garments and accessories.  With 75% Southdown Babydoll fibre, 12.5% Alpaca, and 12.5% Bio Nylon, it should be warm and less likely to felt because of the down breed.  The Bio Nylon is a more environmentally conscious version that adds strength but will biodegrade in a landfill environment.
