Dry Stane - Sock High Twist 85/15

Dry Stane is my take on the multiple varieties of moss, lichen, and little green plants that grow on the stone "fences" in the countryside, or Dry Stane Dykes. This colourway has a cool grey-green base with subtle speckles in all the shades of green! This colourway is on the opposite end of the Green Spectrum from Scots Pine. 

Dry stane dykes have marked property lines and kept livestock contained for thousands of years, and would have been made by hand, with each stone being carried to its final resting place.  The mosses and lichens grow slowly on stones that have been there for years and years, and they're so beautiful!
