Destination Dashel - Non Superwash Shetland Fibre

This is a 100gram (minimum) braid of Shetland fibre, hand dyed by me in the colourway Destination Dashel. Every year I team up with Mellyknits and create a colourway inspired by her Tour de Fleece mascot Dashel.  This year Dashel is going on a holiday and is travelling, so we grabbed muted shades of gorgeous purple, toffee, blue, green and gold.  They're a medium tone, not deep and dark but not light and airy.  

Shetland fibre is a more rustic fibre with 3-4" staple length and a 28-32 micron count.  This fibre is from the UK, and is great for Wet Felting, Needle Felting, Spinning, Weaving, and more.
