5 Alive - Non Superwash Shetland Fibre

This is a 100gram (minimum) braid of Shetland fibre, hand dyed by me in the colourway 5 Alive.  These colours remind me of the drink/juice boxes we got when we were kids.  Bright citrus yellow, green, orange and a splash of aqua bring all of the tropical vibes! These colours are slightly muted on the warm grey Shetland base, but will make a gorgeous yarn.

Shetland fibre is a more rustic fibre with 3-4" staple length and a 28-32 micron count.  This fibre is from the UK, and is great for Wet Felting, Needle Felting, Spinning, Weaving, and more.
